Trudy Crowley Foundation
The Trudy Crowley Foundation was created to alleviate the suffering of those both directly and indirectly impacted by ovarian cancer, and we have only grown from there.
Today, we work together to raise awareness and vital funds for all cancer patients– and connect people with the right information, support services and resources during this difficult time. The Trudy Crowley Foundation ensures no patient or person in their life feels alone.
Trudy’s dream of ensuring that those affected by cancer in our community would have dedicated support and care is now a reality. For example – our nurses, Rosie and Chris, provide the Mackay and Whitsunday regions with a new level of service, care, support and assistance to our beautiful patients, and their families. Our aim is to look after our patients holistically, so alongside our nurses providing clinical support is Rebecca from Breakthrough Counselling and Support Services and men’s health support worker Earl Nelson.
This, we can proudly say, is the only service of its kind in Australia.
